New Delhi: In a Suicide bomb attack, at least 9 Police personnel were killed and 15 others sustained injuries in the Bolan city of Balochistan.

Speaking to Pakistan’s daily ‘The Dawn’  Senior Superintendent of Police Mahmood Notezai said the deadly incident occurred on the Kambi bridge.

“The police are suspecting it as a suicide bomb attack but the Police are probing the matter,” he said.

The Policemen who died in the attack were members of the Balochistan Constabulary (BC). The BC is a provincial police force responsible for security in sensitive areas.

According to SSP Notezai, Anti Bomb Squad has reached the spot, a probe is underway.

Balochistan chief minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Binzenjo condemned the deadly attack and held the terrorist responsible for the lack of development in Balochistan.
