At least ten people, including nine children and a woman, were killed after Pakistani forces bombed a civilian’s house in Afghanistan’s Khost province. Taliban administration spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, in a social media post on Tuesday, confirmed that the Pakistani invading forces struck a house of a local civilian resident killing five boys and four girls, and a woman.
“Last night, around 12 o’clock, Pakistani invading forces carried out a bombing on the home of a local resident, Wilayat Khan son of Qazi Mir, in the Mughalgay area of Gerbaz district in Khost province, as a result of which 9 children (5 boys and 4 girls) and one woman were martyred, and his home was destroyed,” he wrote on X.

Meanwhile, four other individuals were also injured after Pakistani air strikes targeted the border regions of Kunar and Paktika, reports added. The incident comes after a Pakistani diplomat recently met with a senior Taliban provincial leader in Afghanistan. Pakistan has not yet issued an official statement on Tuesday’s deadly operation.
Hours before Pakistan struck Afghanistan on Monday night, the country’s paramilitary force headquarters in Peshawar was reportedly attacked by gunmen. According to reports, the FC Headquarters attack began when a suicide bomber blew himself up at the main gate on Peshawar’s Saddar Road. Moments later, armed militants reportedly pushed their way into the compound, turning a single blast into a full-scale assault.
