At least 126 people have been killed and over 200 injured in a powerful earthquake that jolted Tibet-Nepal Border on Tuesday morning. A 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Dingri County in Xigaze City, located in the Xizang Autonomous Region, at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday (Beijing Time), resulted in 32 fatalities and 38 injuries, Xinhua reported, citing regional disaster relief authorities.
The China Earthquake Networks Centre stated that the epicenter of the earthquake was located at 28.5°N latitude and 87.45°E longitude, with a depth of 10 kilometres.
Reuters reports, "A magnitude 6.8 earthquake rocked the northern foothills of the Himalayas near one of Tibet's holiest cities on Tuesday, Chinese authorities said, killing at least 95 people and shaking buildings in neighbouring Nepal, Bhutan and India."

House collapses were also reported in Tonglai Village, located in Changsuo Township of Dingri in Xigaze, also known as Shigatse, Xinhua reported.

Nepal Earthquake
In similar incident, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.1 on the Richter Scale hit 93 km North East of Lobuche, Nepal at 6: 35 am IST today, according to United States Geological Survey (USGS) Earthquakes. Tremors were felt in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur, Motihari, and Bettiah districts in India. Delhi-NCR is also reported to have felt the tremors on Tuesday morning.
According to the USGS, the earthquake struck at 6:35 am, 93 km northeast of Lobuche, near the Nepal-Tibet border. As per reports, other affected countries are Bangladesh, Bhutan, and China.
