The couple arrived in the US capital on January 18 and were seen enjoying the evening with other prominent business leaders, including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Mukesh Ambani, one of the richest people in the world, wore a stylish black suit, while Nita Ambani dazzled in a black saree paired with an elegant overcoat and stunning emerald jewelry.
Kalpesh Mehta, a real estate entrepreneur who attended the dinner, shared photos on Instagram, saying, “Fun night with Nita and Mukesh Ambani at the inaugural event for President Trump.”
During the inauguration ceremony on January 20, Mukesh Ambani is expected to have a prominent seat alongside other notable guests, including members of Trump’s Cabinet and various elected officials. This event marks a significant moment for Indian entrepreneurs like the Ambanis, highlighting their growing influence on the global stage.
The inauguration will be held indoors due to extremely cold weather in Washington, D.C., making it the first indoor presidential inauguration since 1985. The day will begin with a traditional church service, followed by tea at the White House and then the actual swearing-in at the Capitol. Afterward, Trump will deliver his inaugural address before bidding farewell to President Joe Biden
