Zuckerberg’s Apology- Here’s What Happened

One of the moments that made the high-profile dinner memorable was Mark Zuckerberg’s candid exchange with one of the reporters. When the Meta CEO was asked about concerns over free speech in Britain, an unprepared Zuckerberg replied, “Sorry, I wasn’t ready,” before trailing off. His statement was caught live on microphone and drew a reaction from President Trump, who laughed and repeated the line to First Lady Melania, seated beside him.

The US President then pulled Zuckerberg’s leg by stating that the question was the start of his political career. “This is the beginning of your political career,” Trump said, to which Zuckerberg promptly replied, “No it’s not,” as reported by CNN.
