At least 11 people were taken to the hospital after a shooting on Sunday night in Little River, a beach town in South Carolina, police said.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. on a residential street near the Intracoastal Waterway. There are also a few boating businesses in the area.

Horry County Police did not share how badly the people were hurt or what caused the shooting. They also haven’t said anything about any suspects.

Police said more people were going to the hospital on their own in private cars.
Video from the area showed many police cars and ambulances coming and going quickly.
Little River is about 20 miles (32 kilometers) northeast of Myrtle Beach.
