Australian-born Media tycoon Rupert Murdoch married for a fifth time at his Californian vineyard in 2024. He tied the knot at 93 with his partner Elena Zhukova, a retired Russian biologist. Murdoch was rumoured to be dating Zhukova soon after his engagement to Ann Lesley Smith, the ex-police chaplain, was abruptly called off in 2023.

Mr Murdoch is the chairman emeritus of News Corporation, which owns Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, the Sun, and the Times, the BBC reported.

Brazilian President Lula da Silva married for the third time to Rosangela at the age of 73 in 2022. After tying the knot, he credited his wife of mere months with giving him new life. Lula da Silva took time off from campaigning during his presidential election to marry her. "I am as in love as if I were 20 years old," the president has said of his wife.
