A US man, Thomas Ensko has won $1 million in the Mega Millions lottery. Interestingly, Thomas had been buying the same set of numbers for last 20 years. The number which is said to be inspired his birthday has finally rewarded him monetarily. Mega Millions is one of America’s two big jackpot games.
He bought the lottery ticket from Anderson’s Variety Store in Blackstone and collected his prize money of a whopping $1,000,000 (before taxes) at the Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters in Dorchester. According to the reports, Thomas intends to share the prize money with his children and grandchildren ensuring that the sum benefits his entire family for the years to come. Notably, 20 years ago Thomas Ensko’s wife had also won $1 million.
Ohio Man Hits Big In Lottery, Wins $500,000
In another news of lottery win, a man’s birthday celebration turned merrier when he won $500,000 lottery prize. According to the Ohio lottery, a man from Findlay bought a $10 scratch-off ticket from the Speedway on Tiffin Avenue and won the prize in Mega Multiplier game.
“After mandatory federal and state taxes, he will receive approximately $360,000,” said the Ohio Lottery.
