Pakistan’s former Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who is currently leading a delegation to address the global community, has failed in pushing false anti-India narrative. His anti-India stance was countered by a journalist during a press conference at the UN headquarters in New York. During the briefing, the journalist questioned Bhutto’s claim that the recent terrorist attack in Kashmir is being used as a political tool to “Demonise Muslims in India.”
Here’s How The Pakistani Leader Responded
The foreign journalist, while putting forth his question, firmly stated that he had watched briefings of both sides, and as far as he could recall, there were Muslim Indian Military officers conducting briefing on Operation Sindoor, carried out by India. To this, Bhutto nodded and accepted the truth, stating, “As far as operation is concerned you are absolutely right.” The journalist, without directly naming Colonel Sophiya Qureshi tried to counter Bhutto’s statement about the Indian government.
At UN, Bilawal Bhutto claimed that Indian Govt is demonising muslims in India after Pahalgam Terror attack in Kashmir.

Notably, Operation Sindoor’s briefing was conducted by two women officers, Colonel Sophiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh along with the Foreign Secretary, Vikram Misri.
Furthermore, Bhutto during his briefing, sought reconciliation with India, stressing on dialogue and intel sharing between the two countries. Bhutto emphasised on talks and diplomacy as path to peace. He indicated Pakistan’s willingness to cooperate with India to combat terrorism.
“Pakistan would still like to co-operate with India to combat terrorism we can’t leave the fate of 1.5 or 1.7 billion people in the hands of non-state actors and terrorists for them to decide at a whim that two nuclear armed powers will go to war and this is the new normal of the new abnormal that the Indian government is trying to impose on the region,” Bhutto said.
Suggesting cooperation between Pakistan and India’s intelligence agencies to take on terrorism in South Asia, Bhutto said that this would lead to decrease in terrorism in both the neighbouring countries.
“I am completely confident that if ISI and RAW were ready to sit down and work together to fight these forces, we would see a significant decrease in terrorism in both India and Pakistan,” Bhutto added.
Meanwhile, Bhutto also admitted that the Pakistani government’s efforts to raise the Kashmir issues on global platforms have faced setbacks in the past.
“As far as the hurdles we face within the UN and in general, as far as the Kashmir cause is concerned, that still exists,” Bhutto stated.
