After the unprecedented attack by Hamas, around five thousand people have died so far in Israel and Palestine including 3,500 Gazans who have lost their lives.
Now 12 days after the attack, more pieces of information are coming out. A video surfaced on the internet suggests that North Korean weapons might have been used in the 7th October attack on Israel by Hamas. Though North Korea denies this allegation, the weapons seized by Israel also hint that North Korea sells weapons to Hamas.
What Is an F7 Rocket?
The video on North Korean weapons was analyzed by two experts. The F-7 rocket is a shoulder-fired weapon, which is usually used against armored vehicles. The video is evidence that sheds light on the illegal arms trading in the world and how sanctions-hit North Korea is misusing it.

Who Are The People Making These Claims?
NR Janzen Jones, a director of the consultancy Armament Research Services, said that the F-7 was also used earlier in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, and the Gaza Strip conflict. Jones told the Associated Press, that Korea has been supporting Palestinian terrorist groups and North Korean weapons have also been found in earlier conflicts.
Matt Schroeder, who is a senior researcher at the Small Arms Survey, writes about Pyongyang’s light weapons and said that Hamas has released photos of its training. It shows fighter planes with a weapon on a red stripe on its warhead and its design also matches with the F-7. He added, “I am not surprised that Hamas has weapons from North Korea.”
