However, the regional summit that was to be hosted by Jordan on Wednesday has been cancelled in response to the tragic hospital attack. President Biden was originally slated to meet with key figures, including Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi.

The catastrophic incident at the Gaza City hospital unfolded on Tuesday night, leading to the tragic demise of at least 500 people and causing numerous injuries. While Hamas claimed that the blast resulted from an Israeli airstrike, Tel Aviv attributed the incident to a Palestinian terrorist group.
