Israeli army on Wednesday dismissed Hamas’ allegations of blasting a Gaza hospital that left 500 people dead. Israel also released a video proof to say that the attack was instead an internal conflict.
In a X post, the Israel Defense Force (IDF) claimed that Islamic Jihad terrorist organization misfired the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza. The IDF posted the video showing the affected hospital before and after the explosion.
“A failed rocket launch by the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization hit the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza City. IAF footage from the area around the hospital before and after the failed rocket launch by the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization,” said IDF.
As shown in the video, the hospital caught fire when a rocket landed in the parking lot. Israel claimed that their weapons, particularly their rocktes, are of high impact, which create craters at the site they hit. Basing that the ground, the IDF pointed that there was no crater, neither any significant damage was there.

Hamas Inflated Number Of Casualties: Israel Military Spokesperson
Chief Israeli military spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said “Most of this damage would have been done due to the propellant, not just the warhead”. Hagari also alleged that Hamas manipulated the number of those who lost their lives in the explosion.
Meanwhile, Gaza Health officials reported 500 casualties. After the attack, dead bodies were soaked in blood while wounded ones were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
In the latets, a Middle East country, Jordan cancelled a summit scheduled to host in Amman on Wednesday with United States President Joe Biden along with Egyptian and Palestinian leaders. The meeting aimed at discussing Gaza, said Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, reported Rueters.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lauded Joe Biden’s for his “unequivocal” support to Israel which is at a war with Hamas. Gaza’s millitant group Hamas launched an attack on Israel on October 7, spreading mayhem in the country. This followed bloodbath, bombardment and captivation.
