Is Russia’s Su-57 Stealth Fighter Jet Trying To Outshine The US F-35? Discover Which Air Show It’s Participating In

With stealth fighter jets Su-57,  combat aircraft like Mi-171Sh and Ka-52E helicopters, Su-57E and Su-35 fighter jets, Russian combat aircraft, and weapons are going to display their might in the arms show.

Is Russia trying to replace the American fighter jet F-35 globally? After China and India, Russia’s fifth-generation fighter jet Su-57 lands in Brazil. Russia has sent its fighter jets to the air show in LAAD Defence & Security 2025. Rosoboronexport, the manufacturer of Su-57 fighter jets, confirmed that the fighter jets are participating in the trade fair.

The trade fair will start on April 1. Interestingly, Russia stopped sending its weapons and arms to the trade fair after 2019, but the Russian Arms exporter decided to send the military arms and equipment from this year. 

Rosoboronexport released a statement in which the company said its focus is to develop modern weapons for a nation. With stealth fighter jets Su-57,  combat aircraft like Mi-171Sh and Ka-52E helicopters, Su-57E and Su-35 fighter jets, Russian combat aircraft, and weapons are going to display their might in the arms show. Tank support combat vehicles (BMPTs) and T-90MS tanks will be put on display during the show.

Notably, India has already purchased S-400 from Russia and the country has made its offer for Su-57 stealth fighter jets. Su-57 participated in the Bengaluru Aero-India 2025 Air Show and Zhuhai Air Show 2024 in China.
