MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that, "We have seen information that has been put out by the US administration regarding certain USA activities and funding. These are obviously very deeply troubling."

The US administration notified India about its discovery of certain activities linked to a funding stream, while former President Donald Trump stated that USAID spent 21 million Dollar to influence Indian elections. The Ministry of External Affairs considers this thing troubling and is now evaluating the possible consequences.
