Ruchira Kamboj, expressed her desire for reforms in the UN Security Council and questioned how long the wishes of five member nations would continue to take supremacy over those of 188 other nations. There is a clear need for this to change.

United Nations Security Council

The United Nations Security Council reforms are not moving forward, despite the long-standing demands of numerous nations, including India. America, China, Russia, France, and Britain are the five permanent members of the United Nations, which was established following World War II. After so many years, stable nations like France and Britain have faded while many new powers like Germany, Japan, and India have arisen.

India’s requests have been disregarded for decades despite these altered circumstances. Indian representative schooled the five permanent members of the UN from the UN platform itself once more. India questioned how long the five permanent members would keep disregarding the wishes of the 188 countries.
