Pakistan Politics: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and his aide, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, along with dozens of supporters were booked in three separate cases related to terrorism, reported Dawn. (Pakistan Politics)
Islamabad police has filed four separate cases against Imran khan, his aide and dozens of supporters on charge of anti-terrorism act and arrested over dozens of Khan’s supporters. The new case came amid when PTI leader is already involved in Toshakhana case and facing non-bailable arrest warrant.
In the FIR, registered with Bhara Kahu police station, Hamid Zaman Kiani, Naseem Abbasi, Shaikh Liaqat and Chaudhry Tariq, along with 40 unidentified persons, were booked on the charges of creating a civil commotion, and 21(i) (aid and abetment), along with Section 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), 186 (obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and many more, Dawn reported.

It is informed that cases were filed at Bhara Kahu, Khanna and Tarnol police stations.
The FIR lodged with the Khanna and Bhara Kahu police stations condemned Imran Khan and his aide Shah Mehmood Qureshi for the action of PTI activists. The report said that the PTI activists threatened shopkeepers and forcefully closed their shops. They announced that they were following the orders of of Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
In a big blow to Imran Khan, the Islamabad high court on Wednesday has rejected the bail plea of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief in Toshakhana case, according to Geo News.

Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s legal proceedings began after he was removed from office in a legislative vote early last year. He has since held nationwide protest rallies calling for a snap election, during one of which he was shot and injured.
