After weeks of rejections. One of former Pakistani Prime minister Imran khan’s sisters was on Tuesday allowed to meet him at Rawalpindi Adiala Jail, according to a report by dawn. The meeting has taken place at a time when Khan’s supporters continue to stage an immense furore in front of the Adiala Jail. Beyond that supporters from the Pakistan Tehrik-i-insaf (PTI) party has threatened to organise a mass protest if the meeting was not allowed.
Previously sources close to Imran Khan had told CNN-News 18 that Adiala jail authorities would allow Imran’s sister Uzma and a lawyer to meet the former premier under a strict gag order to prohibit any discussions on social media.
Imran’s family had previously showcased a great concern regarding his health, as per media reports fake social media accounts from Afghanistan shared the hoax news that Imran Khan might be dead.

He said “My father has been under arrest for 845 days. For the past six weeks, he has been kept in solitary confinement in a death cell with zero transparency. His sisters have been denied every visit, even with clear court orders allowing access. There have been no phone calls, no meetings and no proof of life. Me and my brother have had no contact with our father. This absolute blackout is not a security protocol. It is a deliberate attempt to hide his condition and prevent our family from knowing whether he is safe.”

Usma Khan, sister of Imran Khan,met her brother today in Adiala Jail, Soon after the meeting, she said that Imran had confessed to being mentally and physically tortured under the instructions that were directed by Asim Munir.
After massive protests and a PTI movement officials at the Adiala Jail in Rawlapindi allowed Imran Khan’s sister to meet him.
