‘Hands Off Iran’: Mass Protests Erupt In New York After US Strikes Iranian Nuclear Sites | WATCH

The US-led military action under 'Operation Midnight Hammer targeted three major nuclear facilities in Iran - Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Following this, Hundreds of demonstrators marched holding placards and Palestinian flags. "Hands Off Iran" and "Stop The War On Iran" were written in bold on the banners as they moved in solidarity through the streets of New York.

Americans took to the streets on Sunday (local time) to protest against the recent US strikes on Iran’s key nuclear facilities. The Anti-war protests broke out in the city of New York and outside the Oval Office amid tightened security. Hundreds of demonstrators marched holding placards and Palestinian flags. “Hands Off Iran” and “Stop The War On Iran” were written in bold on the banners as they moved in solidarity through the streets of New York.

The US-led military action under ‘Operation Midnight Hammer targeted three major nuclear facilities in Iran – Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. According to reports, protests are expected to continue in Washington DC, Boston, and New York. The American demonstrators also called out Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop war on Iran, as well as their military assault on Gaza.

Earlier on Sunday, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) said that it is stationing more resources across major locations in the American city. In a post on X, NYPD wrote, “”We’re tracking the situation unfolding in Iran. Out of an abundance of caution, we’re deploying additional resources to religious, cultural, and diplomatic sites across NYC and coordinating with our federal partners.
We’ll continue to monitor for any potential impact to NYC.”

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth on Sunday evening confirmed the successful launch of ‘Operation Midnight Hammer’ by the US on three Nuclear sites in Iran.
