New Delhi: New York State Attorney General Letitia James has filed a lawsuit against the Trump organization. The suit including former US President Donald Trump and his three children. James has accused Trump of enriching himself through fraud for more than a decade.
200-page lawsuit filed
According to CNN, James alleged in the 200-page lawsuit that none of the parties involved in the Trump business were untouched by the fraud. These include Trump’s property and golf courses. According to the lawsuit, the Trump Organization defrauded lenders, insurers and tax officials by inflating the value of their properties by using deceptive valuations.
“This conduct cannot be ruled out,” James said during a news conference in New York. The financial position statements were completely exaggerated, and therefore illegal. As a result we are seeking relief, and Trump, the Trump Organization, his family—they all must be held accountable.”

Trumps being rounded up
Among Trump’s children, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Ivanka Trump have been named as defendants in the lawsuit. In addition, former Trump Organization CFO Alan Weiselberg and another longtime company executive Jeff McConkey are also named.
CNN reports that as part of the lawsuit, James is seeking $250 million in allegedly wrongfully earned money. She is also seeking to revoke the Trump Organization’s corporate certificate.
