As the Israel-Hamas tension continues to claim life of locals as neither of the sides intend to seize attacks. Amid this tussle, tomorrow (October 13) is going to be another big event as former Hamas chief Khaled Meshaal has called for protest across the Muslim world on Friday.
The Hamas associated also urged neighboring countries to support Palestine and participate in the fight against Israel. “[We must] head to the squares and streets of the Arab and Islamic world on Friday,” Meshaal, reported Rueters.
At present, Meshaal is heading Hamas’s diaspora office, he said in a recorded statement sent to the international agency. Based in Qatar, Meshaal addressed the governments and people of Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt saying that theu have a bigger duty to support the Palestinians.

Jordan and Lebanon host the largest populations of Palestinian refugees.
In response to a recent Hamas attack, Israel declared its intention to intensify its response with a ground offensive, following airstrikes on over 200 targets in Gaza city overnight. Gaza’s health ministry reported at least 950 casualties, including deaths and injuries, in the densely populated coastal area.

This past Saturday, militants associated with Hamas crossed over from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel, leading to the most severe Palestinian militant assault in the history of Israel.
Meshaal emphasized, “For all those who impart knowledge about jihad and for all those who acquire this knowledge, the time has come to put theory into practice.”
Who is Khaled Meshaal?
Khaled Meshaal, the former head of Hamas from 2004 to 2017, has issued a call for a global ‘Day of Jihad’ scheduled for this upcoming Friday. In a video message, he urged residents of Arab and Islamic nations to convene at the crossroads in their respective cities on the designated day, and he extended an invitation to people residing in countries neighboring Palestine to join in the ongoing struggle. Khaled Meshaal currently resides in Qatar.
