The executives argue that Musk's actions were a violation of their employment agreements and are seeking compensation for the unpaid severance.

Former CEO Parag Agrawal and three other high-ranking Twitter executives are taking legal action against Elon Musk, the current CEO of Twitter, for alleged unpaid severance payments totaling $128 million. The lawsuit stems from Musk’s controversial decision to withhold around $200 million in severance payments from the executives when he acquired the social media giant in a $44 billion deal in 2022.

Twitter Under Elon Musk Control: A Stiffing Stance

In a 38-page complaint filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, Agrawal’s legal team accused Musk of transforming Twitter into a “scofflaw,” alleging non-payment to employees, landlords, vendors, and others. The complaint contends that Musk, under his leadership, disregards financial obligations, operates with a belief that rules don’t apply to him, and leverages his wealth and power to override dissenting voices.
