Late conservative activist’s wife, Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika Kirk, on Saturday, shared a series of pictures and videos of the final moment beside her husband’s body. She can be seen breaking down, weeping, rubbing, kissing, and holding her slain husband’s hand as he lay in the casket. Erika shared the soul-wrenching picture of her mourning on Instagram, with the caption, “The sound of this widow weeping echoes throughout this world like a battle cry. I have no idea what any of this means. But Baby I know you do and so does our Lord.”
In the obituary for Charlie, she wrote, “The world is evil. But our Savior. Our Lord. Our God. He…He is so good. I will never have the words. Ever.” She further warned Charlie’s killer, without mentioning the accused’s name, saying, “They have no idea what they just ignited within this wife. If they thought my husband’s mission was big now..you have no idea. You. All of you. Will never. Ever. Forget my husband, Charlie. I’ll make sure of it.”
Erika concluded by wishing peace upon her husband: “Rest in the arms of our Lord baby as he blankets you with the words I know your heart always strived to hear, “well done My good and faithful servant.”

Erika Kirk, on Saturday, also made her first public remarks, days after her husband was assassinated during a debate event at Utah Valley University (UVU). In an emotional tribute, she reflected on her husband’s legacy and vowed she won’t let it die. Erika spoke from the office where her husband hosted his podcast and thanked law enforcement, political leaders, and friends for their support.
“I wanna thank the millions of people who have shown their love for Charlie…I wanna thank my husband’s dear friend, Vice President Vance, and his phenomenal wife, Usha, for their love and support. You guys honored my husband so well, bring him home,” she said.
