The update follows Musk and DOGE’s increasing influence on federal affairs.

While Musk’s online antics continue to entertain and provoke discussion, his involvement in federal technology initiatives remains a topic of serious debate. Whether his “White House Tech Support” label is a joke or a statement, it has certainly captured public attention once again.
This isn’t Musk’s first time having fun with his bio. Last year, he jokingly dubbed himself ‘Chief Troll Officer,’ a cheeky nod to his bold and often controversial online antics.

In another post on Thursday, Musk said that DOGE will “make rapid safety upgrades to the air traffic control system.”

“With the support of President @realDonaldTrump, the @DOGE team will aim to make rapid safety upgrades to the air traffic control system. Just a few days ago, the FAA’s primary aircraft safety notification system failed for several hours!” he wrote.

Although Doge has Trump’s backing and carries the word “department” in its name, it’s not actually an official government body. Instead, it seems Doge will operate as an advisory body, run by Trump’s closest allies and with a direct line to the White House.
