Social media influencer Ashley St Clair has made headlines with an exclusive interview, revealing details about her relationship with billionaire and Tesla CEO Elon Musk. In the viral interview, the 26-year-old author described Musk as ‘funny’ and ‘down to earth’ while claiming that he wanted to keep their baby a secret.
In an exclusive sit-down with the New York Post, St Clair described a ‘Feverish romance’ with the 53-year-old Tesla and SpaceX mogul that began online. “Musk was very funny. He was smart. He was very down to earth. It started with X interactions and he slid into my DM’s. I think it was a meme,” she said.
She added that she wasn’t particularly interested in Elon at first, but what drew her to him was his acquisition of Twitter. From the interview- “And at one point he said, ‘Are you ever in San Francisco or Austin?’ And I said, ‘I am in Austin and Texas a good amount for work.’” she said, adding that she worked for a conservative satirical website, at the time.
After Musk restored the Babylon Bee to Twitter from an eight-month suspension for a joke about a transgender Biden administration official, Bee CEO Seth Dillon asked St. Clair to fly to San Francisco to interview the billionaire at his new company’s headquarters.
“After the interview, I got a text from him saying, ‘Feel like going to Providence [Rhode Island] tonight?’” -she said. The New York Post reported that the alleged romance blossomed from there, she claimed, until she became pregnant. She also claimed that she was restricted from telling more than a close-knit circle of people that she was even carrying a child.
The High Profile ‘Secret’ Pregnancy
“I was told to keep it secret. I was being asked to keep it a secret forever. I was completely isolated during my pregnancy. Every part of my career and everything I used to do I couldn’t do anymore. I was told not to tell anybody,” she said.” claimed St. Clair, declining to provide a reason for the confidentiality or any material proof that Musk is the biological father. She added that she became pregnant she was not allowed to tell more than a close-knit circle of people that she was with child.
In the report she claimed that Musk provided her with a lavish apartment and tight security but no romance. She implied that although lonely, she said she was willing to stay quiet to protect her child.
Reports say that around the same time as her pregnancy, the influencer and author’s Instagram went dark for months, until she posted a photo from President Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20.
Who Is Aware Of The Pregnancy?
“Texts viewed by The Post between St. Clair and Jared Birchall, Musk’s money manager, appear to show that she complied with the billionaire’s wish to be left off the birth certificate to preserve privacy, security and confidentiality”- reports New York Times
However, she claimed, tabloids soon got hint of her pregnancy and threatened to reveal the truth so she decided to make a public announcement.
She even claimed in the interview that she and her baby have met some of Musk’s other 12 children and spent time with Musk’s mother, Maye Musk. St Clair has chosen to keep the baby’s name a secret. Elon Musk has neither confirmed not denied her claims.
