The insights of Elon Musk about the future of the tech and business dynamics have always been rational and helpful. Being a business magnate, his awareness about how the world is progressing has always led him to be a voice of reason and rationale. But a recent statement regarding the possibility of an impending nuclear attack has led the internet into a frenzy. In his latest statement, he has warned that a major war could break out in the world within the next five to ten years. This could even be nuclear war. In a post on X, Elon Musk stated that the world could soon be embroiled in a global conflict.
Musk, who had previously worked with the Trump administration, made his post amid an ongoing debate about the possible effects of nuclear deterrence on global governance. Musk’s latest statements have sparked a debate.

Musk made a statement in response to a post that was made by Hunter Ash, who in his post claimed that governments around the world are less effective in governance because they lack the threat of a foreign war, considering war-mongering to be a thing of the past. In response to the statement, Elon stated that a major war is imminent. You might ask, “When and where is this going to happen?” Musk responded, “The war could happen by 2030. War is inevitable,” Musk said. “Five years, maximum 10 years.”
Rising Tensions From Taiwan to Ukraine
Elon Musk did not elaborate on his statement, leaving X users bewildered. His X user’s AI, Grok, said that in a previous statement, Musk had addressed the world order, citing the migration crisis in Europe and the threat of global conflict. Musk previously headed the Department of Government Efficiency in the United States. Grok said that Elon Musk did not specify any side or reason.
A prompt on Grok led to the reply that Elon has warned of a civil war in Europe and Britain due to mass migration and identity politics, a war between the US and China over Taiwan, and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine turning into World War 3. Musk has said that despite the best efforts in nuclear deterrence, tensions are rising in this world. Musk refrained from mentioning any particular tension or conflicts in his original post. It is being mentioned that he was referring to Taiwan, Ukraine, and internal crises in Europe.
