Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk praised the fast election process in India on Sunday in a social media post. He commended India highlighting its ability to count 640 million votes in a single day.
Reacting to an X user’s post, with the caption, “Meanwhile in India, where cheating isn’t the primary goal of their elections,” Musk wrote, “India counted 640 million votes in 1 day. California is still counting votes.”

Elon Musk Compares California With India
Musk compared India’s speed in vote counting with California’s ongoing slow counting process following the US Presidential Elections on November 5. According to reports, California, being the most populated American State is widely known for its slow electoral process. California still has over 300,000 uncounted ballots with heavy reliance on mail-in ballots which takes longer than in-person votes, reports added.
