Earthquake Of 6.2 Magnitude Jolts Turkey’s Istanbul.

An earthquake of magnitude 6.0 has hit Turkey’s Istanbul and its nearby regions. In a post on X, the NCS noted that the earthquake took place in the afternoon at 15:19 hours (Indian standard time) at a latitude of 40.99 North and 28.10 E.

The recent Earthquake that shook Turkey has been identified as the strongest Earthquake that erupted in recent years. The Epicenter was located in the area of Silivri. The earthquake that struck the city located on the European and Asian shores of the Bosphorus Strait started at 12:49 local Time (09:49 GMT). According to AFAD, the tremors erupted from a depth of 6.92 Km.
