Jakarta (Indonesia): At least 20 people died while, nearly 300 have been injured in an eartquaked that trembled the Indonesia’s main island of Java on Monday.
As per the United States Geological Survey, the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.4 which struck near towns south of Jakarta, reported AFP.

In earlier reports of the earthquake, Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency said the earthquake occurred near Cianjur, about 100 kilometres (60 miles) from Jakarta which had a magnitude of 5.6.
The disaster caused panic in the city as the injured were rushed to the hospital. In several videos claiming to be from the site of incident, show buildings and houses bitten to dust.
