US President Donald Trump on Saturday warned the Palestinian terror group Hamas to ‘move quickly’ as he would not tolerate a delay in responding to his Gaza peace plan. Meanwhile, the Republican President hailed Israel for temporarily halting the bombing that claimed ten lives in Gaza today. “I appreciate that Israel has temporarily stopped the bombing in order to give the Hostage release and Peace Deal a chance to be completed. Hamas must move quickly, or else all bets will be off,” Trump said on Truth Social.
Asserting that he won’t wait longer, Trump warned, “I will not tolerate delay, which many think will happen, or any outcome where Gaza poses a threat again. Let’s get this done, FAST. Everyone will be treated fairly!” This follows his earlier statement made on Tuesday at the White House, in which he said he would give Hamas 3 to 4 days to respond to his Gaza ceasefire proposal.

Earlier on Friday, Hamas agreed to release all Israeli hostages, both living and deceased, as part of its response to the 20-point Gaza peace plan proposed earlier this week by President Trump. This came after Trump, earlier in the day, issued a stern warning to Hamas, saying the militant group is “militarily trapped” and has been given a last chance to agree to a peace deal endorsed by regional and global powers.
In a statement released on Telegram, Hamas agreed to enter into talks to discuss the agreement details through the mediators. “In this context, the movement affirms its readiness to immediately enter into negotiations through the mediators to discuss the details of this agreement,” Hamas states as reported by Al Jazeera.
After the Palestinian terror group’s statement agreeing to the 20-point peace plan, Trump expressed confidence in Hamas’ willingness to ensure a “lasting” peace in Gaza. Following the development, he urged Israel to stop attacking Gaza to get the hostages back.
