US is all set to welcome their new President. Donald Trump is set to take oath as 47th President of US. Due to the cold weather conditions the event will be held indoors. This is for the first time, for 40 years that the ceremony will take place indoors. Trump will be taking oath next to the Vice President-elect JD Vance.
Several foreign leaders will be attending the event. This will be for the first time that the US inauguration day will be attended by the foreign leaders.
According to media reports, President elect Donald Trump has several global figures to attend this ceremony, including Argentina’s President Javier Milei and Italian PM Giogia Meloni.
The president of China has not accepted the invitation but will be represented by Vice President Han Zheng, as reported by Times of India.
State Department records dating back to 1874 show that no foreign leader has ever attended the inauguration ceremony.
Prominent personalities like Meta Chief Mark Zukerberg, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Apple’s CEP Tim Cook and Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai will be joining the ceremony festivities.
President of Argentina Javier Milei will be attending the swearing-in event. Not only this, but Italian PM Giorgia Melogi and Former President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili will be attending the inauguration ceremony.
On the other end President of France will not attend the event. But several leader from France like European Parliament member Marion Marechal will be attending the event.
