President elect Donald Trump is going to take oath as the 47th US President. The ceremony will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025. He will be taking oath next to the Vice President-elect JD Vance.
The ceremony will kick start at noon at US capitol. The inauguration is scheduled for Monday, January 20, in accordance with the 20th Amendment to the US Constitution. This will be for the first time in 21th century, that the ceremony will collapse with the federal holiday. The date of this ceremony overlaps with the Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which is a federal holiday.
Schedule of The Event
January 18: The event will begin with a reception. Not only this, it will have a firework show at the Trump National Golf Club situated in Sterling in Virginia.
January 19: The will start with the wreath laying program. This will took place at Arlington National Cemetery. Donald Trump will hold a ‘Make America Great Again’ rally at Capital one Arena in Washington DC. Tickets will be free and will be served on ‘First Come First served’ concept. The day will end with dinner and speech by Donald Trump.
January 20 (Inauguration Day): At 5 am the security screening will begin at the National Mall. Donald Trump and Melania Trump will be meeting Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden at White house. Live performances will take place on West Lawn of the Capitol. Trump will take oath at 12 noon and give inaugural address. At 3 pm the presidential parade will happen from Pennsylvania Avenue to the White house.
During evening President elect will be attending the Commander in chief ball, Starlight ball and the Liberty Inaugural ball.
