Russia renews ‘Kalibr’ missiles offer to India

India's naval power could pose a greater threat to enemies in the future, as Russia has renewed its deadly Kalibr-PL (3M-14E Club-S) offer to India. The land-attack cruise missiles have a striking range of approximately 1,500 kilometers using existing 533 mm torpedo tubes. If India accepts Moscow's offer, the Indian submarines can easily destroy the enemy's military installations in just minutes.

This capability is what defense experts describe as silent strike power. According to Russian officials, the Kalibr family is not a single weapon but a complete modular system. It transforms a submarine into a multitasking strategic platform without needing any structural modifications.
