Trump a ‘little disappointed’ as Zelenskyy…

“We have been speaking to President Putin and Ukrainian leaders, including President Zelenskyy. Could US step back from Ukraine peace efforts? Here’s what Trump Jr. says

Amid such concerns, the US President’s eldest son suggested that Trump could step back from Ukraine peace talks amid repeated allegations of corruption involving senior officials from Ukraine. While speaking at the Doha Forum, Donald Trump Jr. said that Ukraine was “a far more corrupt country than Russia.” Meanwhile, he described Zelenskyy as “one of the great marketers of all time.”

When asked whether the Republican President might withdraw from peace talks, Trump Jr replied, “I think he may.” He further stated that this was his personal opinion, since he hasn’t been heavily involved in recent negotiations. His comments followed three days after meetings concluded in Miami between delegations from Ukraine and the US. Both sides described the meeting as productive, but Kyiv officials said there were a few concrete breakthroughs.

Zelenskyy calls Ukraine’s peace talks with US ‘Constructive but…’

Providing an update on the diplomatic progress, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday said peace negotiations with America have been “constructive” but “not easy”. Zelensky held a telephonic conversation with Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner on Saturday. “The American representatives know the basic Ukrainian positions. The conversation was constructive, although not easy,” he said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit London’s Downing Street today for a face-to-face meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. The direct meeting comes as a display of support for war-hit Ukraine to discuss US efforts to reach a peace agreement after Russia launched another round of massive attacks.
