At 2:33 am on Sunday, Pingyuan County in Dezhou City experienced a jolting 5.5-magnitude earthquake. The quake's epicenter was situated 26 kilometers south of Dezhou City, Shandong Province, and its depth was measured at 10 kilometers. The tremors caused injuries to at least 10 individuals and resulted in the collapse of numerous buildings, as reported by CGTN based on the information provided by the CENC and the USGS.
