Canadian police have launched a country-wide manhunt for a 32-year old Toronto resident named Abdul Ghafoori, the prime suspect behind the murder of Himanshi Khuarana. The 30-year-old Indian-origin woman's death appears to be an act of intimate partner violence.

Ghafoori is wanted on the charge of the victim's first-degree murder, according to Toronto police. Officers said they acted on the complaint of a missing female in the Strachan Avenue and Wellington Street W area on the night of December 19 and launched an investigation. The next day, around 6:30 am, cops located the missing deceased inside a residence.
