Karachi Bus fire: There are at least 21 people succumbed to burns and 10 other injured on Wednesday night when a bus caught fire in Karachi, Pakistan’s southern Sindh Province, police said.

According to latest information, The incident occurred at M-9 motorway connecting the port city of Karachi with Hyderabad and Jamshoro cities of Sindh province.

“So far, 21 passengers have died in the accident, 10 were injured and being given medical treatment. Rescue operation is underway,” police informed.

According to sources, around 35 people were travelling in the bus.

“Flood affected people were travelling in the bus who were relocated and they were heading back home in Dadu district,” police official said.

Dadu district is among the worst flood hit districts of the Sindh province.
