A drone targeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private residence in Caesarea struck the central town on Saturday. Fortunately, there were no casualties, as Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, were not at home during the attack, according to his office.

Drones Fired from Lebanon
In addition to the drone that hit Caesarea, two other drones launched from Lebanon were intercepted by Israeli air defense systems. These drones triggered sirens in the Tel Aviv area but were successfully downed before causing any damage.

Connection to Recent Hamas Leader’s Death
The drone attack occurred just days after the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who was killed in a ground raid by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) following a year-long manhunt. Sinwar, the mastermind behind the October 7 attacks on Israel, was killed by a gunshot wound, with his body discovered in a building in Rafah.
Israeli Strikes in Lebanon
Meanwhile, Lebanese authorities confirmed that two people were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Jounieh, located north of Beirut. This marks the first strike in the area since hostilities between Hezbollah and Israel intensified last year. The attack hit a vehicle on a key highway connecting Beirut to northern Lebanon.
