Blast in Turkey: A powerful explosion was heard on Sunday in a crowded place in the centre of Istanbul, and there had been injuries, as per Turkish media.
Pedestrians could be seen turning and fleeing in a video that was released on Twitter, which also featured flames and a loud crash.
According to the news station NTV, the explosion happened shortly after 4:00 pm (1300 GMT), and there were "hurt" persons.
