ISI sent agents to steal S-400 tech

In a video, Raja revealed that Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI had sent its agents to Russia to steal the S-400 air defence technology, who were later nabbed by Russian authorities. Adil claimed that Pakistan attempted to steal the technology because it does not have a robust air defence system, and its all-weather ally China has refused to provide such a system.

Notably, Pakistan lost around 70% of its air defence system during Operation Sindoor. Pakistan was using the Chinese air defence system HQ-9B, which failed to stop BrahMos and SCALP missiles. The Indian Air Force destroyed the HQ-9B air defence system’s radar in Lahore. Since then, Pakistan has been requesting China to sell an advanced air defence system, but China has refused to do so.

‘Pak does not have money to purchase air defence system’

Adil Raja said that Pakistani Army officials went to China two weeks ago to convince the country to sell its air defence system, but China refused. Raja stated that he would reveal the names of Pakistani Army officials if he is targeted by the Pakistani Army. He further said that Pakistan does not have the money to purchase an air defence system, which is why it sent ISI agents to Russia to steal S-400 technology. However, the agents were caught by Russian authorities.

According to Raja, this was the reason Russian President Vladimir Putin made Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wait for over 40 minutes and later refused to meet him.

Sharif gatecrashed Putin-Erdogan meeting

Raja also said that Sharif gatecrashed a meeting between Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, and later offered an explanation to the Russian President. Raja further claimed that Pakistan is patting itself on the back over American funds for the maintenance of F-16 fighter jets, but in reality, the deal had already taken place in 2022 under the Biden administration. He added that the agreement includes surveillance provisions that allow the United States to check the use of the fighter jets to stop their misuse.
