New Delhi: A series of developments have been made since the President Vladimir Putin gave a speech in Russia. The speech resulted in the release of a decree that has taken Ukraine and NATO members by storm.

Putin announces military mobilization

Putin announced partial military mobilization in Russia. He has said that only those in the military reserves and those who’ve served in the Russian military and have relevant experience will be subject to conscription.

Biden blasts Putin at UNGA

In a speech at the UNGA on Wednesday, US President Joe Biden blasted Vladimir Putin, accusing him of “shamelessly violating” the UN Charter by invading the nearby Ukraine.

In his presentation to the UN General Assembly, Biden stated that “Russia has shamelessly violated the key foundations of the United Nations Charter.”

Following these statements by the American and Russian counterparts a series of developments have been constituted in this path to a ‘global catastrophe’.
