New Delhi: Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced the martial law in the four unilaterally annexed regions. The four regions that were ‘liberated’ as per Moscow are Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson & Zaporozhye.
In four Ukrainian districts that Moscow last month claimed as its own, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the imposition of martial law on Wednesday.
“We are working on solving very complex, large-scale tasks to ensure a reliable future for Russia, the future of our people,” he said.

Moscow’s action would stable economy, industry, & production
These actions marked the latest escalation in the war, which has been going on for almost eight months, by Putin in response to a series of significant losses suffered by Ukrainian forces since the beginning of September.
They arrived on the same day as inhabitants in Kherson, one of the four seized regions, were instructed to leave certain locations as soon as possible since an impending Ukrainian attack was expected.
In order to support what Russia refers to as its special military operation, Putin said the actions he was directing would strengthen the stability of the economy, industry, and production.
