New Delhi: Reports are coming in that Instagram users have faced a service outage from across the world. People are storming twitter with #Instagramdown reporting the same.
DownDetector corroborates Instagram outage
According to several Twitter users and DownDetector, Instagram went down around 9:32 a.m. PT and is currently experiencing outages. Although the cause of the outage is currently unknown. DownDetector claims that the platform has been working to resolve these problems.
While some users only encounter Instagram app lag, others are unable to access the service at all. Additionally, some Instagram users are unable to open Stories, receive or send direct messages, or load new posts on their feed.
Users are unable to publish, share, refresh, or send direct messages on Instagram. Several people saw the same problems even after turning their wifi on and off and reinstalling the photo-sharing software.
However, no official confirmation from the IT giant Meta has yet been rolled out in this regard. Meta is the parent organization of Instagram. Here some of the tweets regarding Instagram facing a global outage.
