New Delhi: The Ukrainian capital Kyiv was attacked by kamikaze drones. The information was given by head of the Ukrainian president’s staff Andriy Yermak.
He gave the information on his channel of the messaging application Telegram. “Russians think it will help them,” Yermak said.
He wrote, “Explosions in Kyiv. The capital was attacked by kamikaze drones. Russians think it will help them, but such actions are like agony.”
He further wrote, “We need more air defense systems and as soon as possible. We have no time for slow actions. More weapons to defend the sky and destroy the enemy. So be it.”

News agency AFP also tweeted, “Two explosions heard in Kyiv: AFP journalists.”
In another tweet, it wrote, “Kyiv attacked by ‘kamikaze drones’: Ukrainian presidency.”
