Hadi had recently shared a controversial post on Facebook that depicted a distorted map of India. It showed Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh as separate entities, while the seven northeastern states were included in a purported “Greater Bangladesh.” Following the news of his demise, the head of the interim government, Muhammad Yunus, is expected to address the nation shortly. Large-scale protests are anticipated in Dhaka tomorrow, with security forces put on high alert.
