Another ISKCON member and Hindu priest, Shyam Das Prabhu got arrested in Chattogram on Saturday. The event happened few days after the arrest of former ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das, as per media reports.
ISKCON member Shyam Das Prabhu got arrested when he went to meet Chinmoy Krishna Das in jail. As per media reports, Shyam Das Prabhu got arrested without any official warrant. Vice President of ISKCON Kolkata mentioned about the arrest of Shyam Das Prabhu, by posting it on hix handle.

He further said that, “The arrest of innocent ISKCON brahmacharis are deeply shocking & disturbing.” He also alleged that ISKCON Centre in Bhairav in Bangldesh got vandalized.
He posted on his X handle about it and wrote that, “Another ISKCON center in Bhairav, Bangladesh, has been vandalized. No respite in sight.”

Former ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das got arrested on Monday, which made the rise of protest by his followers across Bangladesh.
Authorities filed sedition case on 19 individuals, which includes Chinmoy Krishna Das. The case was registered at Kotwali Police station in Chattogram.
Financial authorities of Bangladesh on Friday ordered the Banks to freeze the account of 17 people who are linked with ISKCON, this includes the former member of ISKCON Chinmoy Krishna Das.
