Baloch Liberation Army Claims Killing Of 14 Pakistani Soldiers In Panjgur, Releases Video Of 9 May Attack

In a press release, Spokesperson of Baloch Liberation Army, Jeeyand Baloch stated that "BLA freedom fighters" targeted Pakistani Army and its Victory Celebrations in Quetta and Mastung.

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed the responsibility of killing 14 soldiers of Pakistan Army during their ongoing military exercise “Operation Herof.” The powerful explosion, which occurred on 9 May, destroyed a bulletproof vehicle and killed all 14 soldiers inside. The attack took place in Bonistan of Majboorabad in Panjgur district. The BLA released a video of the attack on Pakistani Army convoy Wednesday, confirming their involvement. Notably, Pakistan had hidden the casualties.

The release stated, “Today, freedom fighters targeted a rally of the so-called “Victory Celebrations” organized under the patronage of occupying Pakistani Army in Quetta with a grenade attack on Munir Mengal Road. The rally was being led by so-called MPA Ali Madad Jattak. Freedom fighters targeted armed death squad agents ahead of the rally. As a result of the attack 1 death squad agent was eliminated and 12 were injured.”

BLA targeted the Balochistan government and its celebration under the patronage of occupying state. The release added that the Baloch liberation movement has taken a strong shape with public support.

“The so-called Balochistan government, out of fear tried to throw dust in eyes of the world by installing contain-ers all over Quetta and celebrating a “so-called celebration” under the patronage of occupying state. But today truth has become clear to the world that Baloch liberation movement has taken a strong shape with public sup-port where occupying army does not consider itself safe in any corner of Balochistan,” stated the press release.

Grenade Attack At Pakistani Army In Mastung

It further claimed the responsibility of hand grenade attack at Pakistani Army in Mastung. BLA emphasised that at this particular checkpoint (where they attacked), personnel used to humiliate people in the name of searching.

“Last night, Baloch Liberation Army freedom fighters targeted enemy personnel posted at the checkpoint of oc-cupying Pakistani Army at MCC Cross in Mastung with a hand grenade attack, as a result of which 4 personnel were injured. In the name of searching on the said checkpoint Baloch people were being humiliated from which even women and the elderly were not safe,” the release added.

At the end of the release, BLA declared that it claims responsibility for these attacks and that it will continue then in the future.

“Baloch Liberation Army claims responsibility for these attacks. Our attacks on occupying Pakistani army and its collaborators will continue,” stated the release.
