In February, Abdul Latif’s son, Saif Baloch, along with seven other family members, was forcibly disappeared by security forces. Their bodies were later discovered, confirming growing fears that entire families are being systematically targeted for elimination.

Human rights organisations and Baloch advocacy groups are now calling for urgent international intervention. They are urging the United Nations, global media, and press freedom watchdogs to break their silence and take concrete action against what they describe as ongoing crimes against humanity in Balochistan, carried out under a veil of impunity.
