New Delhi: An Iranian woman was shot dead by the security forces as she tied her hair in public and did not cover it. As media reports claim Irani morality police shot six bullets at Hadis Najafi who was later taken to hospital to be pronounced dead.

Popular on TikTok and Instagram, Hadis prepared herself to go to join anti-government protest on September 21. She tied her hair in public and did not put on Hijab afterwards.

She was later shot dead.

Hadis’ death has shocked everyone across the globe as a young girl like her was killed for not having covered her head. Hadis was 20 years old as her sister said.

Meanwhile, the internet is full of condolences for Hadis’ death but appreciations are still higher in number for her bold move.

Iran has recently seen a protest where women were throwing their scarves into the bon fire. The Iranian citizen resorted to do that in addition to chopping their hair to condemn death of 22-year-old Kurdish woman.

The girl was arrested by the morality police who accused the former of violating law of not covering herself properly with clothing. The media reports said the woman was beaten up by batons on her head after which she collapsed.

The girl was later taken to the hospital where she died after being in coma for three days.
