Airlines have been disrupted across the world which has heavily impacted flight services both domestically and internationally. Due to this unprecedented technical glitch, flights are unable to fly, land, and take off. Notably, this glitch has occurred due to issues in the Microsoft server.

Passengers are facing difficulties in online checking. Air India, Spicejet, and Indigo have notified their passengers about the same, and Vistara has canceled its flight to Delhi. The most affected due to this disruption are the US-based airlines.

In its latest tweet, Spicejet has appealed to its passengers to do their check-in manually at the airport as all the online services have been halted owing to this disruption.

Hundreds of flights have been either canceled or rescheduled due to delays. Along with airlines, banking services, and broadcasting have also faced the impact of Microsoft’s technical glitch. Sky News and other digital and broadcasting channels in the UK too have suffered at the hands of this server trouble.

Spanning from the UK and the US to Israel and Turkey, this glitch has impacted almost all the fields that are server-bound such as the likes of banks in war-affected Israel and Turkey, rail services in Australia, and stock exchange services in London.

Flights at Berlin Airport in Germany and Paris Airport in France have also been halted as the passengers are unable to check-in.

Delhi Airport has termed it a global IT issue, however, there’s still no update on when will everything get back.
