Due to the wheel lock, the aircraft got stuck on the runway itself. There were 179 passengers on board, who were later de-boarded. The aircraft was removed from the runway with the help of a tractor. Two international and five domestic flights were grounded after the plane got stuck in the taxiway.

The takeoff facility of the airport was stopped for an hour. Regular operations resumed after the aircraft was displaced from the taxiway to the parking lot.
